Flannel & Pancakes

It seems early to me, but we're already starting to feel a tiny bit of fall in the air here in New York. Fall is absolutely my favorite season, so I'm getting giddy as the temperatures cool off enough to need a cardigan in the evenings.



My friend Shannen shot an engagement session earlier this year that feels just like the weather is starting to—a little autumnal, but with the golden glow of lingering summer. Plus, it sounds like such a dreamy day. They took a road trip out to the bride's family lake house, then woke up early to eat pancakes and listen to Bon Iver on the dock. Perfect, right?
